When an Operator finds themselves being called before the Traffic Commissioner to a Public Inquiry they are probably not loooking much further ahead than the Public Inquiry and how they are going to deal with it.
However if you have accreditations such as ISO 9001 (2008 or 2015 versions), BAR accreditations to mention but a few you could find the end of the Public Inquiry is not the end of your worries.
A serious non conformity within your business and something that brings your professional reputation into question such as a Public Inquiry will leave the accreditation bodies asking questions too.
In a recent Public Inquiry in Cambridge an Operator who was called to a Public Inquiry has now found the ISO 9001: 2015 Auditors asking why this happened and why he had a major noncompliance of his business systems that he then failed to detect.
This is calling his recertification into question and if that is lost the business will lose a number of Blue Chip clients overnight as they will simply NOT work with companies that are not ISO 9001 accredited. That will be around 63% of the company turnover.
Can you afford to lose such clients? Can you afford to lose the accreditation that helps keep them?
If the answer to that is NO please call AS Miles Consulting Ltd on 01455 389053 or email [email protected]
